Turns out medical marijuana is extremely beneficial

For those who have never had a kidney stone, let me tell you from experience that it’s not an experience you want! At 1 point, I informed my partner I wanted to go back and go through all my childbirths once more instead of having the pain from the kidney stone.

As I easily waited to be seen in the emergency room, I impatiently paced the waiting room.

After what felt like something close to a year, the healthcare worker brought me into the triage room. She asked me about the medications I use and if I used any illegal drugs? I told her I used medical marijuana. She stopped what she was writing and turned to gaze at me. She easily applauded me and told me she was really happy to hear that. She could not understand how several people my age were using drugs under the guise of prescriptions, when I could be using natural drugs such as marijuana to help with all sorts of different ailments. The healthcare worker said she wished more people were courageous enough to get a medical marijuana card as I had. At that point, I was in so much pain that I didn’t necessarily care what the healthcare worker was saying, it wasn’t until a few weeks later that I actually sat back and heard the words she was telling me. For a healthcare worker to tell me that using marijuana was better than taking some prescriptions, took me aback. If I didn’t recognize what she had said, I would not have been using medical marijuana at all, and hearing a healthcare worker tell me that, made it seem much better than what I expected it was. I was no longer using an illegal drug legally, but using a medication that was helping my condition.
