The creative side of using cannabis

My ideas can come from anywhere.

It has been my experience that if you are looking for things to write about you never need to look too hard.

Just open up your eyes and experience what is already around you, and there will be something to inspire you. I have gotten ideas for some of my most deranged horror stories while walking the dog, sitting in traffic, or doing dishes. An overheard snippet of conversation in the grocery store might yield something brilliant. On a personal note, I smoke a lot of cannabis to keep my mind in a state of readiness. Many people think that smoking marijuana makes you slow witted or thick in the head, but I heartily disagree with that sentiment. If you are a slacker to begin with, then of course cannabis isn’t going to get you off the couch and out into the world. Slackers love smoking marijuana because it relaxes them and makes them feel justified in being lazy. That is a possible outcome of using marijuana for anyone, because it allows you to be more of who you already are. For people like, who hate wasting time and love writing and creating, cannabis is a valuable tool. I have always felt that alcohol dulls my senses and depresses my mind, while cannabis opens me up to new things if I let it. So as I sit here, blazing some Purple Haze and getting ready to write a new horror story, I remind you that marijuana is awesome, and don’t let the slackers give it a bad rap.
