My girlfriend has the same cannabis strain preferences as I do

I spent the better part of half my 20s being single and working a soul-draining job in a busy city with constant noise.

I knew I needed to get a change of pace so I applied to graduate school on the opposite side of the country.

Although I hoped that I would “find myself,” I had no idea that I would also find my perfect partner as well. We had both spent most of our adult lives living without romantic partners and working ourselves to death. Graduate school was a page-turning moment for both of us individually, so it felt like fate when we met and got to know each other. We also share many interests with one another, especially music, movies, and TV shows. I feel grateful that she likes my cooking as well, but that could always just be her being nice to me out of love and respect. One thing that we seem to agree on the most is the type of cannabis strains that we prefer. Like many others, we use sativa strains during work hours and hybrids and indicas during the early evening and before bed. However, both of us have found ourselves different from others on our preferred strains in the past. Neither of us can handle Jack Herer and its hybrid relatives for whatever reason, yet we love Sour Diesel and Super Silver Haze which can both be equally “racy” when used in medium to high doses. Although the description for 9lb Hammer made it seem like it would be the perfect strain to treat one another’s anxiety issues, this indica only complicated things for both of us. It’s crazy how we have different brain chemistry and genetics but we are both affected by specific cannabis strains in almost the exact same way.
