My body was waiting for cannabis all along

Medical marijuana has changed everything for me when it comes to a near lifelong battle with IBS.

And here I thought medical marijuana was just for cancer patients.

But then again, I could have put many and many together on why cancer patients use medical marijuana. While there are several medical marijuana benefits for someone struggling with cancer, the entire point is dealing with nausea from chemo. While our IBS is a bit more complicated than just nausea, it’s still a condition that has to do with the digestive process. And that is something I honestly should have picked up on. Regardless, I’m just glad that I figured out how to get a medical marijuana card in order to finally get a more consistent IBS treatment! The meds I’ve been using are hit and miss. When they do work, the efficacy of the medicine wanes fairly swiftly. Then, the frustrating cycle begins all over again. This is not the case now that I’m getting the cannabis products from the legal weed store. From the onset of treating medical marijuana, I’ve felt far more relief than with any of the other meds. It’s as though my body was waiting for medical cannabis all along. I’m so glad to really have a crucial tool in our efforts to manage my IBS and get on with my life. There has been so much I’ve missed out on that I’m happy about getting back in my life. This is all thanks to medical cannabis. I’m just so thankful that my state had the fantastic sense to make cannabis dispensaries legal for people like me.
