I’ve been looking at the same boring faces at work for the past six months, but my boss hired a new girl and she is very nice and polite.
I had an opportunity to talk with her for a few minutes on Saturday.
We were both having lunch in the break room at the same time. We talked about our family and our education. I thought we had a good connection, so I decided to ask her for her phone number. She giggled and said no, so I decided to ask a second time. I told her that we would have a really good time together if she gave me a chance. Her break ended before mine and she disappeared upstairs to the cannabis shop floor. I went upstairs to work at the cannabis shop when I was finished a few minutes later. Before I made my way into the showroom, the boss stopped me and grabbed my arm. She asked me to join her upstairs in the office of the cannabis shop. She told me that she wanted me to spend the rest of the day delivering orders. I wasn’t scheduled to deliver that day and I wanted to work inside of the shop. When I protested the delivery, the boss told me that the girl was feeling uncomfortable because I tried to pressure her for a phone number. I honestly wasn’t trying to pressure the girl at all. I thought she was cute and I didn’t mean any harm. When I realized that I didn’t have any choice except to deliver, I accepted my punishment for being a nice guy.
