I got a task working as a delivery driver 6 months ago. I particularly loved the task, because I made a lot of money with tips. I liked being able to labor on our own. I went to the dispensary when our shift started and picked up the delivery orders. After I was done delivering all of our items, I went back to the dispensary for another round of orders. Most of our shift was the same and I particularly liked things that way. I particularly liked not dealing with clients and coworkers. I’m not a people person, unfortunately, things have to change because our car is now in the shop for repairs. The repairs are going to take various afternoons because the engine has to be removed in order to get to the problem. While our car is in the shop, I will not be able to supply any orders. My boss agreed to let me labor inside of the building instead of as a driver… Yesterday was our first shift working inside of the store and I hated every part of it. I didn’t like sitting inside the store all day and I wanted some fresh air. I didn’t get to smoke cigarettes as frequently either, because the boss only lets the indoor people take a break every 2 hours. When I was working as a delivery driver, I had the opportunity to smoke anytime I wanted. During the next few afternoons, I am going to get a chance to remember exactly why I like being a delivery driver instead of a drone working inside of the store.
