Traveling & difficulties buying cannabis

It aggravates me that cannabis is still restricted at the Federal level.

Marijuana is is classified as a Schedule 1 substance under the Controlled Substance Act, however it is considered to be a high risk for abuse & said to have no satisfactory medicinal benefits, however because of this cannabis cannot be moveed across state lines.

I have an MMJ card in my dwelling state, but even when I travel to another state that offers reciprocity, I can’t bring along my medicine. I am frequently required to travel for work. I suffer from anxiety, arthritis, insomnia & migraines. I take cannabis to alleviate the symptoms & love a more active lifestyle. I respectfully purchase cannabis products with higher CBD to THC ratios. Some of them cause easily mild psychoactive effects & others result in no high sensation at all. I am lucky that I can purchase medical marijuana products at any of the dispensaries in my local area, but when I am on the road, I constantly hope to be sent to those states that accept my MMJ card, however this allows me to buy medicine with a higher potency, higher quantity & no tax. If the state has legalized recreational weed, I at least have access to a variety of plant-based remedies… Now & then, I end up in a state that has yet to legalize medical or recreational marijuana. I am forced to rely on over-the-counter medications that don’t toil as well & cause harmful side-effects. I remain optimistic about the growing acceptance of cannabis. More & more people are becoming aware of the curative properties & holistic benefits. I keep expecting the federal government to ease up on the restrictions for the sake of health & well-being.
