It’s true that a comedian has to be funny but they also have to have good timing and lightning fast punch lines
The local smoking Lounge for marijuana has an open comedy night where anyone can step up to the microphone and try things out. It seemed like a really fun idea when I was thinking about it, because what better place for a comedy night than at a place where people will obviously laugh when they get stoned. People regularly get high plus laugh at lots of different things. It seems like a good idea to put a comedian in front of all those people. One problem emerged after a couple of weeks and this was due to a mic night where anyone could sign up for a couple of minutes of time. Cannabis jokes seem funnier but that does not actually make people very funny. The people I was with as well as myself Heard lots of jokes and some of them weren’t funny at all. It’s true that a comedian has to be funny but they also have to have good timing and lightning fast punch lines. Smoking marijuana makes some people slow and a couple of the people that were making jokes weren’t very fast on the uptake. The people I was with as well as myself don’t care to do lots of things while we are using cannabis but we don’t want you cringe when we look at these stand-up comedians that are trying so hard and not doing a very good job. The Improv night at the cannabis shop lasted for a couple of weeks but it has been way too bad for me to handle regularly.
