I work for a major marijuana dispensary that is located downtown.
The place is one of the only places with a smokers lounge and a seating area.
My associate and I offer in-store shopping, option up, and delivery services. The past dispensary location was legitimately slammed due to the great locale. My associate and I got a lot of foot traffic to the shop because of our proximity to the harbor. I liked the seaside location and I could get clam chowder any time I was working for free. The owner of a crab and seafood place wanted to get my number. A few weeks ago, the owner of the dispensary moved us into a much larger building that is various miles down the strip. It takes me about an extra half hour to get to the dispensary. I do not like standing in traffic and waiting through stop light after stop light, however I’m not going to quit my task just because the dispensary moved a half hour away. The new dispensary building is much larger. It’s still in a section that has very heavy foot traffic, however now my friend and I are much closer to the highway which makes it much easier for the drivers to get in and out of the shop abruptly. My associates and I moved a couple of weeks ago and since then I have been tied up receiving shipments of great new products every couple of afternoons. My associate and I moved all of the outdated inventory into the new building, however the space is larger and that means my friend and I can carry many more products. The website used to have about 500 items and now the store has at least two thousand items that are available for purchase any day of the week.
