When I was offered a new job that required a relocation, it took a friend of mine to remind me of an added benefit of taking this job. I would be moving to a region where both medical marijuana and recreational marijuana were legal. I hadn’t even realized this really interesting fact. I’d enjoyed using marijuana since I first tried recreational marijuana in college. But I didn’t use it all that much because getting it was such a hassle. I didn’t know a cannabis grower so I had to come to take what I can get when I could. And because of my job, I had to be careful because a marijuana bust could be a career killer. Of course, that wasn’t worth it to me so I took what I could get when it came to cannabis products. It wasn’t as though I could be choosy when it came to whether I wanted sativa strains or indica strains. So having the opportunity to actually shop for marijuana for sale in a cannabis dispensary was really appealing. And by taking the new job opportunity, that would definitely be an added benefit. The first time I walked into my local cannabis spot, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect. However, my fears were allayed right away. Not only was the staff super great and knowledgeable but everyone there was smiling and kind. Once they learned I was new in town, I started making friends left and right as the folks at the local cannabis spot we’re genuinely welcoming. I’m not sure if all these friendships are better than being able to legally purchase cannabis products. But I guess it’s a big bonus that I don’t have to do without either of them.
