For sure, I truly wanted to be active and into modern things when I retired.
And that’s exactly what I’m experiencing. I had no system that I’d be finding out about cannabis at this section of my life. But that has how it worked out for me… Unfortunately, my partner died about various years before we were able to make our retirement dreams come true. We wanted to transfer to somewhere sizzling and sunny and care about being active and outside. That’s all we truly wanted after years of cold winters and overcast summers. It took me a while to recover from my partner’s death however I went ahead and moved on with our retirement plan. It wasn’t straight-forward to transfer away and beginning a modern life. But losing my partner was a slap in the face when it comes to how short life truly is. That made it so much easier for me to walk into a cannabis dispensary when I first moved here. I had typically wanted to try recreational marijuana. I knew friends who enjoyed it responsibly all their adult lives. So I did not believe any of the myths or misinformation that was rampant when I was younger, but now I was truly interested in procuring some sativa strains or maybe a bit of indica product. It’s now legal where I live so I decided to supply the cannabis dispensary a shot. I was amazed at how welcomed I was as though I was somebody’s Grandfather. I felt so comfortable and they took truly wonderful care of me when it came to my introduction to marijuana. I am easily thankful to count the people at the local cannabis spot as my modern friends.
