I really appreciate working as a delivery driver for a cannabis shop.
When I was 17, I was able to find a job working at a pizza shop.
I managed to earn great tips & I genuinely liked driving my car all over the city. I was still very new to driving & it was quite exciting to get behind the wheel every afternoon for work. After I started college, I found a job delivering packages for a retailer online. I worked days so I could go to school in the evening hours. I worked at the packaging store for 18 months… Then I got a completely different job working as a delivery driver. One of my good buddies told me that the recreational marijuana dispensary was looking for delivery drivers. I was 21 at that time & outdated enough to apply for a job in the dispensary. I already had good experience working as a delivery driver, so I was really hoping that would help me land the job position. Sure enough, I received a phone call just a couple of afternoons after I sent my application to the marijuana dispensary manager. The manager wanted me to come in for an interview as soon as possible. Of course, I had psychology class that morning. She waited until that afternoon to speak with me. The manager at the marijuana dispensary was exceptionally nice. She pretty much reminded me of my mom. I got the job working at the marijuana dispensary & I started a couple of weeks later. I still work at the cannabis shop these days & I still use my car to deliver. When college is entirely over, I will be anxious to quit my job at the marijuana dispensary & start a job at some other place.
