I’m not sure what I expected when I went into the medical marijuana dispensary, but it wasn’t what I saw.
People were milling around, and no one seemed to be busy, but no one asked to help me.
I started looking at the products in their showcase, but I had didn’t know what I was looking at. Finally, someone called to me and asked how they could help? I told them this was my first time buying medical marijuana, and he said he would get the pharmacist out to talk to me. Within ten minutes, the pharmacist was recommending several marijuana products that were ‘on sale’ at the moment. I was pleased to hear they could give me marijuana products that were ‘on sale’. I liked it when I could save some money. When they rang up the marijuana products, I was in shock. I didn’t say anything, and all I could do was stare at the budtender. I asked if he had properly added the three small products. He told me the prices were correct and I could check them myself. I picked up each product and he had rung up the right prices. I didn’t have that much money with me. I thought medical marijuana would be cheaper. I told him I knew someone who bought recreational marijuana off the street, and it was cheaper. He laughed and said it may not be high grade, and this was medical marijuana. I walked out with only one product that was truly on sale, but I wasn’t sure if I would ever go back to the marijuana dispensary.
