I truly knew I was going to be drug maintained for this modern job, plus yet it never occurred to me that one of the “drugs” they were testing for was cannabis.
When I stop and think about a drug test I feel it is for dangerous, addictive drugs sort of like cocaine or heroin. It would make sense to test people for the mood-enhancing drugs prescribed by their physicians. Smoking weed has become so normal in my life that I genuinely forgot it was still illegal in some sites. The HR department called me plus explained that I had actually tested positive for cannabis, plus I said “of course! So what?” They finally told me that testing positive for cannabis use meant that they couldn’t hire me to work at their establishment, plus then the reality sunk in. There were numerous weird ways I could have cheated to pass the drug test without quitting my cannabis use, although I didn’t really think about it! At the cannabis dispensary there is a whole space of products dedicated to help people pass their drug tests. These products are only for cannabis testing, they will not help you with other kinds of drugs. There are particular drinks you can take to help flush the THC from your system, plus there is also fake urine that works well! By using artificial urine you can genuinely fool any cannabis drug test… Alas, I walked right past the display of these products at the cannabis store plus didn’t buy what I needed. Now I have to go find a weird job. Wish me luck for the next attempt!
