I love the fact that I don’t drink alcohol… That’s because I end up being the designated driver for just almost everything with my friends.
I know that I’m one of the few people I know that gave up booze at this young an age… But honestly, I just never like what alcohol did to my body, so when I was celebrating in school, I would sort of just hold a drink and wait for the recreational marijuana to get handed out.
I wasn’t buying any cannabis products back then. It was of course illegal and I sure wasn’t facing down the wrath of my parents over some weed. But I did appreciate the fact that I could cherish getting a bit into the great fun that everyone else was having without drinking. So now that we’ve all started working jobs in our fields of study, we are still pretty close, only a few of us have left the town for jobs in other locale. That means that I’m still the one who gets so much free food or whatever in order to be the designated driver, recently, I got free tickets to a rock concert that was a couple of hours away because I was willing to drive. And we had a hotel room at our destination that were within walking distance to the show. So don’t you know that I went by the local cannabis spot on the way out of town. I picked up some sativa edibles for the rock concert… Now for me, using cannabis is just the ticket when it comes to seeing live music. And since I was getting a free concert ticket and bed for driving, I was so blissful that my option to not use alcohol paid off in such a nice way.
