An afternoon at the Cannabis cafe

I’m not so sure that I would’ve agreed to this lifestyle had I known how freaking tough it would be.

There was none of that for me.

My parents, family, friends, and instructors were all about getting me to reach the grand potential they thought I possessed. That was odd in itself. But I always did as I was told. I stayed away from recreational marijuana at school, studied hard and graduated in a field where I was employable. Now it seems like that is a bit less than what I should have shot for. Yet, that’s the way it goes. The next thing I know, I’m a professional and a mother and a partner and all of these other hats that need to be worn. Thankfully, there is the cannabis cafe. When marijuana was legalized here, I didn’t know too much about it. While I stayed away from cannabis when I was in school, I had tried smoking some over the years. It was pleasurable for sure. I know the first cannabis product I ever smoked was some OG kush. And like I said, I truly enjoyed it. But the next afternoon, it’s right back to trying to accomplish more than is possible. A few months after recreational marijuana was legalized, the cannabis cafe opened up. And this place is now my refuge from the life that I’m not sure that I was ready to sign up for. Just when I’ve had a little more than I can handle, I make time to start the afternoon off at the cannabis cafe. Either alone or with friends sharing my marijuana edibles, I find the balance and perspective to keep on going with this thing called life.
