CBD tincture as a sleep aid

A friend of mine recommended CBD oil when I was having trouble sleeping.

I liked the idea of putting a few drops into my tea and sleeping better at night.

I bought the CBD oil online from the local cannabis dispensary near me. When it finally arrived I had high hopes. First the oil was very noticeable in my tea for a bad reason. It tasted foul and I didn’t sleep any better at night. It was a huge disappointment. Second, the CBD oil wasn’t exactly cheap to purchase either. I made myself finish it out of precedent. For a while I banned all CBD products since I had a bad experience. Eventually I was desperate for sleep and actually went into the local CBD shop for some answers. The budtender told me the CBD oil I bought from the cannabis dispensary isn’t powerful enough for my needs. He also said that CBD tinctures were a better fit for what I wanted. It looks like a little bottle of oil with an eye dropper. You can place a few drops under the tongue and let it dissolve. With CBD oils it is CBD and the carrier oil. You need to put it in under things and it typically isn’t pleasant. A tincture is alcohol based and has an herb involved. It smells and tastes much better. It also is way more powerful. I was cautiously optimistic with my tincture and gave it a try first thing that night. It was a huge difference! It did taste better and I fell asleep and actually stayed that way for once. Since it is still a CBD product I wasn’t high either from the tincture.
