Getting rid of my car was the smartest decision I ever made.
Looking back, I have no method why I fooled myself into believing I needed a car in the huge city, but more than anything it had to do with status, I think, having your own car carried some prestige with it, mostly because of the expense.
Insurance rates were far higher, and I was also spending several hundred dollars a month just for a parking space! After selling the car I have less yearly expenses, and I hardly ever miss it! I can take an Uber to anywhere I want, and since there is local cannabis delivery from my dispensary, my weed needs are covered, too. The last time I had a cannabis delivery was about a month ago, which is about as often as I location an order, but when the weed delivery driver arrived I had him come inside, and asked him a few questions about his task. To myself and others it seemed silly to try and drive a car around this town delivering weed products for hours on end. The guy told myself and others that he had sold his car long ago, and handled all of his cannabis delivery on his 12 speed bike. He said that the bike was the best possible means for cannabis delivery because it was small, fast, and straight-forward to maneuver around the obstacles of town traffic. It was undoubtedly interesting, and now every time I see someone whipping through village on their bike I wonder if they are in the weed delivery business.
