I honestly do not appreciate being forced to wear a uniform for work.
They never look flattering and the t-shirts tend to be too tight.
I was pretty excited when I got the task at the local medical and recreational marijuana dispensary. There wasn’t a uniform at first, and they had a truly lenient dress code. Basically I would wear whatever I wanted as long as it was appropriate for a sales environment. I wore my white jeans most times, with a comfortable shirt or blouse. When the manager of the marijuana dispensary said that the two of us were going to begin wearing uniform shirts, I was aggravated and a little mad. The shirts that the employees sold in the dispensary were not truly enjoyable quality. The shirts were made of a cotton material that was heavy and hot. Thankfully, the two of us found out that our work shirts were going to be made by a strange supplier. The t-shirts arrived a few days ago. They have the name of the marijuana dispensary on the back and the front of the shirt has a drawing of a cannabis plant. I am honestly quite pleased by the quality of the shirts. The shirts are strong but lightweight and available in a few colors appreciate black, colorless, and tan. The two of us didn’t have to pay for the shirts either. Each budtender at the dispensary was issued more than 2 shirts for a full-time shift. I can rotate the shirts for more than 2 shifts before I have to worry about doing the laundry. The two of us can also get more in the future if more than 2 t-shirts isn’t enough.
