It always seems like the last customer of the day takes forever to figure out what they want. I work the evening shift at the recreational and medical marijuana dispensary near the airport. The recreational and medical marijuana dispensary has the lowest prices on products in the city. Prices on marijuana at the airport location are easily 20% lower than any of the other marijuana dispensary locations in the city. The place is open from 7:00 in the morning until midnight. We take our last customer at 11:30 p.m. the security officers are instructed not to let anyone in the building after 11:30 p.m. so we can have all of our transactions completed in a timely manner. We had a new security guard at the front door last Tuesday night and he let a customer into the building at 11:45. It was the guys first time in the dispensary. I tried to tell the customer that it was too late for a new patient to sign up and the guy begged me to make an exception. He told me that he just arrived in the state and got here on an airplane that had been delayed for 6 hours. He really wanted recreational marijuana. I agreed to sign up the customer even though we don’t really stop taking new patients at 11:30. The customer took forever to order, because he didn’t know what he wanted. I tried to help the guy make up his mind quickly, but he didn’t leave the dispensary until it was well after midnight.
