The edibles I make are not especially good

Okay, so in my personal defense I was raised by survivors of the Great Depression. My parents were the genre of people who still froze all their leftovers, plus never threw out a single scrap of food, even long after they needed to. Although they had grown up relatively poor, they both wound up being especially successful. They never changed their parsimonious ways either, plus managed to pass them along to me to a particular degree. I assumed that edibles would be straightforward to make, plus would be similar to the ones I purchased at the cannabis store. The bonus would be that these edibles would be quite a bit cheaper. I have to report that it was not quite so easy, plus my first attempts at making edibles were not impressive in the slightest! You get what you pay for, plus upscale edibles at the cannabis dispensary were easily superior to my cheap imitations. I tried to dial it in more, at first by grinding up the cannabis more finely plus stirring it in more thoroughly. Then I chose to switch up plus use cannabis oil instead of the actual buds, plus that helped a good amount but I still had a long way to go. I suppose if I could unlock the secret to making the most enjoyable edibles, I would require a lot fewer trips to the cannabis shop. So far, I am not having quite enough luck, so possibly I should just give up plus let the professional cannabis cooks do their thing.
