Sarah and I went to a concert in the city.
We crossed the state lines into a different place with completely different laws.
One of the completely different laws is the legalization of recreational and Medical marijuana. On the other side of the state line where Sarah and I live, marijuana is not legal for recreational purposes. It is extremely difficult to obtain a permit from the state to use recreational marijuana and it’s not exactly easy to find a dispensary. The state makes it incredibly difficult even though they say that it is legalized. Sarah and I stayed in a hotel overnight. We read through the pamphlet on the hotel table. We ordered some pizza from a place close by. We saw an advertisement from a marijuana dispensary near the hotel. The marijuana dispensary offered free delivery services to the hotel. Sarah and I decided to go online to look at the dispensary menu. We thought it might be interesting to look at everything they have available. Neither one of us actually anticipated placing an order but that is exactly what occurred. We ordered a couple of different pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes as well as some dried fruit. We bought an edible chocolate bar too. We had a lot of supplies for one night in town, but ordering online and having it delivered to the hotel was scary easy. We even used our debit card to pay for the purchase. The bank statement didn’t show a purchase at the dispensary. It showed just an ATM withdrawal and the address. Nobody even knew that Sarah and I got high while we were away that night.
