My first attempts at making edibles were pathetic

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again! This is the quote I have on my kitchen wall, something that has been there long before I went to culinary school.

There is both an art and a science to cooking food, and it has been my lifelong passion to work in this business. Food is my life, and when I am not at work I am cooking in my home kitchen, working on new recipes and such. My latest and greatest idea is using cannabis to make gourmet edibles to sell at local dispensaries. There is a major period of trial and error, and my first attempts at making edibles were nothing short of pathetic. There is a lot going on when it comes to making edibles, and mixing cannabis into some batter is not all it takes! Since everyone at one point in their life has tried making pot brownies, they assume that all edibles are basically the same. Let me tell you that there is science and skill involved in balancing the flavors and the THC levels of cannabis and merging it flawlessly into food. Think back to those pot brownies you made once, and you might remember that they tasted terrible. The point of the story is that it is easy to make edibles, but it is very difficult to make good edibles. I am getting ever closer to solving this riddle, and making the tastiest edible treats of all time, I just need a little more practice. Do you have a favorite kind of edible, and do you know the recipe?
