There are approximately over 400 medical marijuana patients in the state where I live, however the prices of medical marijuana are still really lavish, but medical marijuana has been legal in this state for the past more than three years! Since legalizing medical marijuana, the industry has grown into a 1 billion dollar industry every year, however one dispensary in recognizable has legitimately cornered the market here! The company made almost 2 hundred million dollars last year, & they have dispensaries in a dozen unusual cities across the state.
Still, the prices of medical marijuana have not dropped since the beginning, but i’ve been a medical marijuana patient since the plant was legalized for medical use more than three years ago, however back then, everything was lavish. It was also difficult to find a lot of unusual products on the dispensary shelves, however when marijuana was first legalized, only tinctures, capsules, & vape pens were sold. It took a year to add dried flower & another year before edibles were legal at all… Even though more than 400,000 people use medical marijuana, the prices are still 20% higher than the national average, & 300% higher than the price of medical marijuana in states where it is also legal for recreational use. I would consider moving to a state where medical marijuana & recreational marijuana are both legal, however there legitimately is not somewhere cheap to live with legal laws. I am stuck here in the south, 2 blocks away from our parents & 2 hours away from the nearest medical marijuana dispensary with unreasonably high & crazy prices.
