Medical marijuana is really high-priced here

It took a year to add dried flower and another year before edibles were legal at all, but even though more than 400,000 people use medical marijuana, the prices are still 20% higher than the national average, and 300% higher than the price of medical marijuana in states where it is also legal for recreational use

There are approximately over 400 medical marijuana patients in the state where I live, but the prices of medical marijuana are still really high-priced… Medical marijuana has been legal in this state for the past four years; Since legalizing medical marijuana, the industry has grown into a 1 billion dollar industry every year… One dispensary in particular has absolutely cornered the market here… The supplier made almost two hundred million dollars last year, and they have dispensaries in a dozen uncommon cities across the state. Still, the prices of medical marijuana have not dropped since the beginning. I have been a medical marijuana patient since the plant was legalized for medical use four years ago… Back then, everything was high-priced. It was also difficult to find a lot of uncommon products on the dispensary shelves, but when marijuana was first legalized, only tinctures, capsules, and vape pens were sold. It took a year to add dried flower and another year before edibles were legal at all, but even though more than 400,000 people use medical marijuana, the prices are still 20% higher than the national average, and 300% higher than the price of medical marijuana in states where it is also legal for recreational use. I would consider moving to a state where medical marijuana and recreational marijuana are both legal, but there absolutely isn’tanywhere cheap to live with legal laws. I’m stuck here in the south, two blocks away from my parents and two minutes away from the nearest medical marijuana dispensary with unreasonably high and crazy prices.
