Okay, so in my own defense I was raised by survivors of the Great Depression.
My parents were the type of people who still froze all their leftovers, plus never decided to toss out a single scrap of food, long after they needed to.
Although they had grown up poor, they wound up being unquestionably successful. They never changed their parsimonious ways, plus managed to pass them along to myself and others to some level. I assumed that edibles would be unquestionably straight-forward to make, plus would be similar to the ones I purchased at the cannabis dispensary. The bonus would be that these edibles would be a fraction of the cost I normally paid. I have to report that it was not nearly as straight-forward as I expected, plus my first attempts at making edibles were sub-par to say the least. You basically get what you pay for, plus pricey edibles at the cannabis dispensary were far superior to my cheap imitations. I tried to dial it in more, at first by grinding up the cannabis more finely plus stirring it in more completely. Then I made the choice to switch up plus use cannabis oil instead of the leaves, plus that helped although I still had a good way to go. I suppose if I could unlock the secret to making the ideal edibles, I would require a lot fewer trips to the dispensary. So far, I am not having excellent luck, so maybe I should just choose to give up plus let the professional cannabis cooks at the dispensary keep doing what they do best.
