It’s been raining for three days straight and the roads have been filled with accidents.
There was a five car pile up on the interstate at the end of the day yesterday and I thought I was going to end up in the middle of it.
I was on the way home from seeing a couple of friends after work. I avoided hitting a patch of ice, but a few other cars were unsuccessful. I barely escaped the accident and there were a ton of injuries. I thought the marijuana dispensary was going to be very slow inside the store on Saturday, because it was still raining. Unfortunately, it was packed with people and the delivery guys were busy too. We had twice as many sales at the marijuana dispensary as we normally do. The guys and gals were in and out of the store all day. After lunch time, the rain turned into a light snow. We still continued to have huge numbers of people in the marijuana dispensary. By the end of the day, 516 people had walked through that door. Last Saturday, the number was under 300. I have no idea why the rain brought so many people to the dispensary on Saturday, but it was a nice change of pace on a rainy day. Most of the time I have to count down the hours when the rain is falling and it makes me feel really depressed. I like when the weather is sunny, warm, and dry. I could do entirely without ever seeing another inch of rain.
