My boss wasn’t as nice as my customers
When I left the house that morning, there were just a few snow flurries. It was only the beginning of October, and I didn’t think anything of the snow flurries. By the time I got my marijuana deliveries ready to go, the roads had become icy. I looked at my little Honda and knew it wasn’t very good in the snow. I set out to make my three deliveries, determined to get all my marijuana deliveries done. When I got up the mountain to make my first delivery, it was all I could do to get up to the house. I delivered her marijuana and she was really grateful. She paid me and I realized she had given me a $20 tip. I headed to my next delivery which was on the other side of town. This time I didn’t make it all the way up the driveway. My car slid in the snow, and I was stuck in a ditch. I could see the house, so I called a tow truck, and headed up to make my second marijuana delivery. During my walk, I was trying to figure out how I was going to tell my boss that I couldn’t make the third delivery. My second customer thanked me and said she didn’t really expect me to get to the house because of the storm. My boss wasn’t as nice as my customers. She was angry that I had gotten stuck and had a few angry words even as she was telling my coworker to get in the truck and make that last delivery. I was still sitting in my car waiting for a tow truck when he showed up for the marijuana for the last delivery.
