First it was medical marijuana that was legalized in this state.
I was so pleased about that on a couple of levels.
First, I was just feeling blissful about so many people suffering from a litany of issues that could now get relief with cannabis products. There would be no more having to hide the simple fact that they used sativa and indica products to treat their health and wellness. I have a dear friend named Pat who finally got mostly free of the most crippling parts of her social anxiety. Pat is a person who was not far from a complete recluse and the meds the docs were giving her weren’t helping. As soon as the 1st cannabis dispensary opened and Pat had her medical marijuana card, I took her to shop for some marijuana for sale. I’ve long enjoyed what I think would be deemed recreational marijuana use. While I never had any inspected maladies for medical marijuana, the sativa strains I use help myself and others keep a handle on my life. But for Pat, the effects of the cannabis products that she ended up using were remarkable. Pat was able to get out of her house, go to some group therapy and even joined myself and others for yoga. That was something that I could hardly suppose given the shape she was in just months before. The other reason that I was so blissful that medical marijuana passed was because I knew that it wouldn’t take too much longer before there was legal recreational marijuana as well. And that happened while in the final election cycle. It’s just so nice to be able to walk into the local cannabis spot and shop for marijuana strains finally.
