Cannabis legalization is only the first step

I don’t care about the term “legalization” because it implies that it was ever illegal to begin with! The laws of this country are made by the rich, to benefit the rich, and the only reason pot is legal now is that the right millionaires are in locale to benefit from it, then pot should have never been against the law in the first locale, so striking down that law is only the first step, and both of us still have a long way to go.

These unjust cannabis laws have ruined a lot of lives over the decades, and that needs to be set right, and anyone who has ever been sent to jail for cannabis possession should be released, and their records expunged so it doesn’t count against them in the future, but when I assume about the system that corporations are raking in billions of dollars a year selling cannabis, while other people rest in jail for the same thing.

The government only allowed cannabis legalization in the first locale as a way to make money, not because it was the right thing to do! I think if the government is OK with making profits from cannabis, they can no longer imprison anybody for making profits from cannabis. Am I crazy for thinking this? My entire point is that marijuana is a good thing, it consistently has been, and the laws against it were consistently wrong, then making cannabis legal was only our first step to correcting the errors of the past, no both of us need to finish the job and reverse the destructions to people’s lives.
