I have been working at a hotel since I was 18 years old.
I work at the front desk as a bellhop.
I do my best to make sure that all of the hotel guests have a great day. I make myself available for our customers whenever possible. A few months ago I was approached by a man that was staying in the hotel. I had several conversations with the man throughout the week. We talked about my job and how long I have been working at the hotel. The man told myself and others that he owned a business, even though he was not absolutely certain. Most clients at the hotel are not certain when talking about themselves. That was nothing unusual. At the end of the week, I was in charge of taking the man’s bags down to the neighborhood automobile so he could go to the airport. The man approached myself and others and handed myself and others a supplier card. He told myself and others that he was impressed with my work ethic. If I wanted a different job, he could offer myself and others something with growth potential… But man owned a recreational and medical marijuana dispensary. When I looked further into the guy’s background, I found out that he owned several marijuana dispensaries and a farm up north. The Exchange made myself and others absolutely interested. I wanted to guess more about the job at the marijuana dispensary, so I decided to write the man a well-worded SMS a couple of afternoons after he left. If he was harsh about giving myself and others a job in the marijuana industry, I wanted to guess more about the opportunity.
